Partnerships in Understanding is a Jane Goodall Institute’s pen pal program that encourages Roots & Shoots groups to share their culture, projects, and ideas for positive action with like-minded others around the world. We'd love to get more groups involved in it.
Groups can sign up by following the link to http://www.janegoodall.ca/roots/corner/partners.php and completing the registration form online.Once groups are registered to be a part of Partnerships in Understanding we will partner them with other Roots & Shoots groups, and send each group a pen pal start up kit, and information to answer any questions group members may have regarding their new correspondence. Currently, there are groups who correspond in French, Spanish, and English, proving that, with many voices, the power of youth is global! I hope you will join us in encouraging this initiative :)
