Students and Professors from all over the country will be coming together at the National Roots & Shoots College Summit, April 13th, 14th and 15th to share ideas about how to make a difference in our world. In past years this has been a wonderful forum for networking with other Roots & Shoots college groups, hearing about what projects are going on in the country and the world, and learning more about ways to help our planet and those living in it.
The Roots & Shoots college summit will be held at Clearpool Education Center; a pristine, un-touched, 300-acre nature preserve in Carmel, New York. www.clearpool.org
The summit is open to all students and professors who have existing Roots & Shoots groups or who would like to start a new Roots & Shoots group at their university. This is a special, fun and exciting chance to meet with all your fellow Roots & Shoots college students! This event is likely to fill up quickly, so if you are interested please contact Grace Felten (gfelten@janegoodall.org) promptly for more information.
The registration deadline is March 8th.
